Reflective Introduction

History of our world
We cannot escape the pull of history. Our world is composed of the sum total of all the events that makes up history. We study history to understand the very why of life itself. To understand where we are going we must first discover where we have been.
Our students have a rudimentary knowledge of the world. For some it encompasses their home town or even their own backyard. Students may know where their families came from but not know anything about the history of those places or why their families left. As we open up the realm of history for our students we expand for them the boundaries of their lives, we can open up new vistas. Students can learn many personal and educational lessons through the study of history.
